Information we collect and why
Our estimate form requires your name, email, phone number, street address, city/state/ZIP, subject and project message. We use these details to respond, confirm service availability, prepare estimates and arrange requested services. Please do not include payment-card details, government identifiers, health information or other sensitive information in the form.
Our website and hosting systems also receive technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested URLs and request times to operate and secure the site. Campaign tags in the page URL can accompany your inquiry so we can understand its source. Our form uses a random submission identifier to reduce duplicate inquiries.
Who receives information
Authorized Nice Guys personnel and providers supporting our website, hosting, email and requested services process information for those purposes. Our current website hosting provider is InMotion Hosting; form notifications use our Google business email service. Google reCAPTCHA helps protect the form from abuse and receives browser/network information under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Links or embedded services supplied by other companies are subject to their own privacy practices.
We do not sell client lists. Advertising-related disclosures can nevertheless be treated as sharing or sale under some privacy laws, even without a sale of a client list. We may also disclose information when necessary to meet legal obligations, protect rights or address fraud and security.
OpenAI advertising measurement on the big-TV page
OpenAI measurement is enabled only on the big-TV landing page, with deferred loading. The Pixel loads only after an estimate request is accepted, the completed form has been removed, and the measurement notice has been displayed on the confirmation. It does not load when you first open the page or when a submission is rejected. Submitting an estimate is not treated as affirmative advertising consent.
Our approved setup uses the OpenAI Pixel only on the big-TV landing page to connect advertising interactions with accepted estimate requests. The Pixel supports automatic contact matching: available supported contact identifiers, such as email and phone, can be normalized and SHA-256 hashed in your browser. Our deferred setup does not supply a manual contact object and removes the completed form before loading the Pixel, so contact matching may be reduced or unavailable. These coded identifiers are still personal data, not anonymous data. OpenAI also receives browser/network information, browser or advertising-click references, page-origin/request information, event identifiers, timestamps and conversion activity.
Our measurement code does not send project messages, subject text, street addresses or city/state/ZIP fields to OpenAI. It waits until the completed form and its fields are removed before loading the Pixel; if those checks fail, measurement does not start. Full inquiry details still go to Nice Guys so we can respond.
OpenAI processes conversion information under its Conversion Terms and Ad Tools Data Processing Addendum, including advertising reporting, measurement, delivery and improvement. OpenAI states that it does not sell personal data; see its Privacy Policy. This information is not used solely to count leads.
Cookies and attribution
The Pixel can use __oppref, an advertising-click reference lasting 30 days after writing, and __obref, a browser reference lasting 365 days after creation. Browser restrictions or clearing cookies can shorten those periods. These cookie lifetimes are different from our 30-day click-attribution window and do not mean event data is deleted after 30 days. We do not create a separate advertising-preference cookie. Other functional or security cookies may be used by WordPress, Google reCAPTCHA or services you use on the site.
Privacy rights and browser signals
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal data, object to processing, or limit certain sharing. Contact info@niceguystvmountings.com or call (205) 602-6423 with a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity and will respond as applicable law requires, including any applicable review or appeal process. Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination.
The landing-page measurement setup honors a browser's Global Privacy Control signal by not loading the OpenAI Pixel. You can also manage cookies using browser settings; blocking or clearing cookies does not delete information already received by us or a provider. We do not offer a separate on-page advertising-preferences control. You can contact OpenAI about its processing through the methods in its Privacy Policy.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to handle inquiries, deliver services, maintain business records, meet legal requirements and resolve disputes. Different records can have different retention needs; we do not promise a single fixed deletion period. OpenAI's retention is governed by its applicable policies, agreements and legal obligations, not our attribution window. We use safeguards appropriate to our operations, but no website or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children and changes
Our services and estimate form are intended for adults arranging TV services, not directed to children. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We may update this policy as our practices change and will show the effective date here.
